NCLL Events September 19 and September 26 Finding Mother Trees About Dr. Suzanne Simard

"Finding Mother Trees: Classroom Presentation" is an upcoming event about Dr. Suzanne Simard sponsored by Northern Center for Lifelong Learning (NCLL) and hosted by Peter White Public Library in Marquette. My husband, Todd Carter, and I are the presenters.
The classroom event will take place Tuesday, September 19, 10am to noon. Tickets for this event are sold out. NCLL is affiliated with Northern Michigan University (NMU).
"Finding Mother Trees: UPLC Hike to Chocolay Bayou Nature Preserve (Easy)" will take place Tuesday, September 26, 10am to noon. Holli Langlieb from UP Land Conservancy (UPLC) will guide participants into the Chocolay Bayou Nature Preserve to find the biggest, oldest trees, aka, the mother trees. Todd and I will be NCLL sweeps for this hike. Tickets for this event are sold out.
